Working principle
1. The salt solution contains several ions such as sodium ions, hydrogen ions, hydroxide and chloride ions. According to the electrolysis theory, when the electrode is inserted and direct current is passed, negative ions such as chloride ions and hydroxide move to the anode, while positive ions such as sodium ions and hydrogen ions move to the cathode, and discharge occurs on the corresponding electrode, thereby performing redox reactions to generate corresponding substances.
