Welds Through the Insulation, No Stripping Required: Enamel coating on magnet wire must be removed before traditional soldering or welding. Scraping damages fine wires. Chemical stripping leaves residue. Our oxyhydrogen flame burns off the enamel instantly as it welds the copper core. One operation. No separate stripping step. No damaged strands. No chemical cleanup.
No Carbon Residue Means No High-Resistance Joints: Acetylene and propane flames leave carbon on copper. That carbon burns during welding, creating pits and voids inside the joint. More carbon, more resistance. More resistance, more heat. More heat, eventual failure. Our oxyhydrogen flame produces only water vapor. The copper surface stays clean. The joint is solid copper, not copper mixed with soot.
Heat Stops Where You Stop the Flame: The joint needs to be hot. The insulation next to the joint needs to stay cool. A broad torch flame overheats both. Our flame is narrow and concentrated. You heat the weld zone, not the wire running back into the winding. The enamel a few millimeters away does not melt. The paper insulation on the next layer does not char. The transformer stays assembled.

No Gas Cylinders, No Handling Hazards: A motor shop floor is tight. A transformer winding bench is crowded. Add a propane cylinder and it is in the way. Add acetylene and now there is a fire risk.
